Mighty Blighty Pub Stop: Part 1

Mighty Blighty Pub Stop: a quick guide to a few great pubs and brews from England.

First stop…The Princes Head in Richmond. One of my favourite pubs in this area of London and is a great place to stop and relax especially after a 12 hour flight! Lots of character inside with hidden nooks and crannies, and a great place to see the local Richmond “wildlife” first hand – by that I mean the local characters that drink there and the super-friendly bar staff. If it’s a lucky sunny day they’ll give you your pint in a take-away plastic cup so you can sit on the Green and watch a game of Cricket or like today we were fortunate enough to see the May Fair celebrations being set up, that included a traditional carousel. With red telephone boxes and cobbled streets in view you can’t get any more English.
